Really? Cool. Since we are 2 hours behind Phoenix they should have the codes ready by tomorrow.

My husband said if you aren't coded they send you home for the weekend and you'll have to go back Monday. I'm assuming they pay for Greyhound to bring you home and back if that happens.

So the guys that live closer will get coded first? We only live 81 miles away (Warner Robins).

From what I saw at orientation they try and get those further away on a truck sooner if anything. If you live within 50 miles they do not have to pay for your transportation. When it comes to coding though there are a lot of things that have to happen, they need your background checks, drug test, approval from safety and so on, its not simply just about finding you a mentor and many things can hold it up.

He called and said he is supposed to be getting a code by 1pm today. We don't live within 50 miles so they'll pay for Greyhound IF he has to come home this weekend and pay to get him back Sunday/Monday.

I'm hoping he'll end up like the majority of the other new guys that were coded. On a truck!

Cool! When did you get your code?

I haven't gotten a call from him yet so he either doesn't have one yet or he's getting packed to go.
