Hello all. In about a month or so I'll be going to a local community college to go get my full CDL as I have my permit already. I am not going the company-sponsored route, so don't mention that. But I'm already just researching companies to work for since I'm such a forward thinking person. Anybody got a decent list? I'd go to a mega if I must, but it'd be nice to start with a smaller company. I am in central Alabama, if that helps. No flatbed, either.
Thanks in advance!
Going to community college to get my CDL - need a good list of starter companies!

What trucking companies are within a convenient drive to where you live? Call them and ask if they hire newbies and what CDL schools they hire from.
Numb and nextgentrucker Thank this. -
Oddly many of these are flatbed which you don't want.tscottme Thanks this. -
Which town are you near or your zip code.
Plenty of companies to choose from other than flatbed. We can give you at least a dozen that hire new cdl school. grads.
