    That depends...

I did just that and #### near lost my home. If you're single with few bills, you might do alright, but if you're supporting a family... Well, best of luck to you.

Don't walk away run! Run fast!! I have been lied to by recruiters not really a surprise there but the bs theirs spread is miles thick. I went to orientation with them was so pissed off by the last day I got up told them where to stick it and paid for my own way home. Yes the starter companies suck and get away with it because like you said everyone has to start at the bottom but just not that far down. There are several other companies that, although bad, are still way better then them.

You'll get out what you put into it. You say you're looking to gain experience. I'm sure you'll accomplish this goal with Werner. I can't say about the pay, but you didn't mention that aspect.

Bottom line I'm positive you'll get what you're looking for there. When time unfolds and your needs & goals change and if your not reaching them there. Remember why you signed on, stay focused, & only move on toward your goals when you find and can accept that new opportunity.

The key is it's easy to point fingers & blame. Really though we're our own masters. Many blessings in your endeavor. Be safe.

I am taking the same route BigNasty is taking and i am only here to get my time in and then come back local for this company back home. A starter company is just what newbies need to get the experience needed to move on. I have been out of the truck for a while so i have to do this all over again. I was with Swift when i started out but then left due to found a job in a warehouse making good money local. This company has since gone south and even though growing no advancement opps. So here i am again back on the road.

It all depends on the person.
