Purchased Shock Absorbers For My 2016 Peterbilt 579 In March 2021, But It’s Time To Change Them Out. I Haul A Tanker Not Sure If There’s A Specific Shock Out There That Handles A Tanker Well. Help Me Out Truckers!!!! Thanks In Advance.
They are all pretty much the same. Made in China, Mexico, etc......like most auto parts. Just buy any mid priced shocks. Replace them every 200-300k miles or whenever you replace tires. Just one Old Mans opinion.
I buy the Monroe brand from Partsgeek. Replace every 100k. Works good and at $45 a pop, who cares about the quality when I replace every 7-8 months
There must be some off road Tanker Rally/Race that we haven't been clued in on!? Lol. (Isn't Fox the company that makes all of the high dollar off road racing shocks?)
Yes that is the same company. I would pay that much if they are rebuildable and last twice as long as cheap shocks before needing a rebuild.
