    So the give me a peterbilt 387 something like that with no apu no Optimize idle no nothin yestwrday I far sleep with 79 80 in the bunker bu not today I got my personal Optimized idle from ta truck stop what do u think guy .... ??? uploadfromtaptalk1400725122265.jpg

    normally the optimized idle can be overridden by fooling the temp sensor. Replacing it with the right resister will make it think its cold and allow you to run the motor. Another trick i put a heating pad on it plugged into your inverter. (like the kind you use for your back) If its hot enough it should allow you to idle.

    Werner trucks are set with idle if it is warmer than 75 or colder than 20. For that Peterbilt just set breaks. Let idle till engine light flashes. Press any pedal and the light will turn off and engine will idle as long as outside temp stays above 75.

    Have you tried setting the cruise control while idling? that worked on prime's freightliners. Could be worth a shot.
