GPS, CB'S and other gear

    Hi I was hoping someone could give me a little insight on the best gear for a new driver to have out there on the road that wont totally hurt there pocket I am looking to have a GPS and a CB but don't know what kind I should get and from where also anything you can suggest I take with me please let me know for my first run I just want to be prepaired and have everything I need to make my life and stay on the road as easy as possible thank you all in advance

    I would suggest a cobra 29 classic you can pick one up for about 90 bucks or so, great all around cb. As for gps if you got a laptop I would get microsoft streets and trips you can get that for about 80 bucks, but keep in mind its not truck friendly, so you will have to learn the program to get it to go the way you want to go when planning out your trip.
