Halvor Lines letting outside contractors go, any confirmations?

    Just got word from a reliable source that Halvor Lines has suddenly let all of their outside contractors go. :( :eek:

    Can anyone else comment on this?

    No comments about halvor but this seems to be turning into a trend in the industry currently.

    They say it’s due to a lack of freight, and want to keep company trucks moving. I wonder if it’s not more about not wanting to deal with the AB5 rule that will affect owner operators leased to carriers. It was added to the last infrastructure spending bill.
