Has anyone purchased a cab mattress? If so, what’s the best one?

Hi guys, I’m just getting ready to go to trucking school. I was told to bring bedding.. so what do I need to be comfortable on the road?

Take a extra large sleeping bag and pillow. You can switch to sheets after you are assigned your own truck. In fact, I used the sleeping bag method my whole career.

I've been told to go to local mattress manufacturer, and tell them how firm you like a mattress.
I have not done this yet. But I've been told its cheaper than the foam mattress pads at TA last one I bought was $210 I think.

how big are you. us plus size models need springs not foam. so a good pillow top twin from big lots will work

Have the company send truck to dealer and put in a premium mattress.

Schooling i know nothing about. Never anything regarding sleeping lessons and bedtime stories in my lifetime.

AFTER you've been assigned your own truck, go to Walcott (Iowa 80). You can pick from an array of mattresses- from the soft one that give me backaches to the concrete kind that let me sleep like a baby- in an array of price points.

some companies will put a new one in for you,WHEN you get your own.

if it's not good enough, shop for "super" single size. 40X 75 or there about.
