I been a flatbed driver for 18 months and the company I worked with never hauled poles. I recently started with new company and was instructed on how to secure bolsters to bed with bucks and chains; but I dont know how to secure poles after loaded. Can someone help me with instruction or maybe a link for tutorial video? Thanks in advance.

He's used a belly strap in the front and back of the load for extra securement.

And no matter how you secure them, they will settle going down the road. So, plan on an extra stop or 2 to retighten those loose chains/straps. You don't want those things coming to visit you in the front of that truck.

Poles? If they've been debarked and they're not treated with preservative yet they'll be slippery. They're especially slippery when they get wet.
It's a good idea to gut-wrap the first couple of layers and make sure the loader loads you tight.
