So far it's been great, it's laid back and everyone here is super friendly. Everything they've told me is the exact truth
For those of you going through training...I just got through driving for Central - good company and in my view, they treat you fairly. I left because I was offered a job at a University and I may also have an opportunity to help coach there as well (Div I school). Anyway, I have some stuff for sell as I don't need it any more: 12v 40qt coleman cooler ($100+ at Truck Stops, $90 at WalMart) Cobra 25 LTD Classic CB (normally $80-100, normal sell price about $70) XM Snap Satellite Radio ($30 at WalMart...much more at Truck Stops) Road Pro 12v Portable Stove/Oven ($30) Road Pro 12v Clip anywhere Fan ($20) Celltronix Bluetooth Headset (sell $25...normally $50+) Selling for: Cooler - $70 CB - $50 Satellite Radio - $20 Stove - $10 Fan - $10 Headset - $10 Or will sell everything to one person for $150...which is what I would rather do. I live just South of CRSWVC (live down in the Provo/Orem area) and could bring up the items some evening. Everything, except the cooler, is in original packaging. The cooler is actually only about 4 months old. Everything is in GOOD working order. You can make an open post or you can PM me - I'm fine either way. If you are still in training, I believe there is space there where you can store items until you get into your own truck. I could sell everything for more than I am, but I'd rather make it easier for someone else to get the stuff that they need. Let me know...study hard and all of you should do just fine.
The website is really vague about many things. Is central a place for the experienced driver? What exactly is Midwest regional?
Midwest Regional Position - This position is available for the states of WI, IL, IN, IA, OH, MI, KS, and MO. This position is available through your driver manager immediately upon completion of the upgrade after training. Drivers in this region will have 1 day off per week. There is no guarantee which day.
