What are you wanting to do,, flat, tanker, box, reefer, etc? How long do you want to stay out or how often do you want home time?
I want to drive whatever makes the most money. I am used to long deployments from my time in service, so 2-3 months out with 3-4 days home is no problem. I was light infantry and spent weeks at a time sleeping on the ground,no bath, eating MRE's etc...,so a sleeper cab and shower 1-2 times a week sounds like a 4 star resort to me. I also do not mind tarping,or any of the extra physical labor that may go with driving flatbeds. I already have my HAZMAT endorsement, so tankers would not be an issue either. Basically,it comes down to whatever makes the most money during the first 1-2 years while I am paying my dues. After a couple years, I can hopefully afford to get picky about mre home time, specific types of loads, easier labor etc...
That dang cybergal closed one of your posts because it was a duplicate. I replied to the other one and now it looks like I started this thread.. I am gonna have to put my foot down again...
Well; there is a lot of options. I would say go with flat and work your way up into heavy haul. ATS might be a good co to look at if you want to go heavy haul.
If you just want flatbed I am with maverick and I like them. If you want heavy haul I sent you a link to ATS's site. You won't be able to pm me, but if the link doesn't work it is anderson trucking.
