Help can't find student driver program from Northern Michigan

    I am trying to get into the truck industry. :biggrin_2552: I cannot find a company such as Werner or Swift that is taking students from my area.:biggrin_25512: Please any help would be welcomed.

    Even if they are not hiring in your area you can still go otr with them and at least get the training when your done you can quit and find something more local.

    Ok i will have to look into it then.. I have been checking the web sites and they all say no in Michigan but IN, IL, and OH all have openings:biggrin_25523: , I now have another question, if I sign on to an outfit for OTR will they get me home, or will I have to find a way on my own.:biggrin_2559:

    usually if your otr than you'll be home about every other weekened is probably the most you'll see home if stay as a company driver...
