How bout you post "What is the best job for a new truck driver in North Carolina" as the subject instead of help. Your question could be about anything and will atract people who know nothing about NC wasting our time. Also include info about yourself. Do you want to do flatbed, van, tanker, reefer? Ar eyou willing to do more physical work like flatbed? What is "best"? High pay? Lots of home time? Nice trucks?

    mje and JRTBud87 Thank this.

Depends on where in NC you're at. I drive for Cooke out of Mt Airy, NC. They hire rookies, good equipment, home every 6 days or so. If you're within about a 2 hr drive from there, pm me and I'll give you some more info on the company and who to contact.

    mje Thanks this.

You don't give much information to work with; interests, endorsements, etc.
Here's some good companies though for new CDL graduate drivers living in North Carolina:

    Cooke Trucking Company
    WLA Inc.
    Hardy Bros. Inc.
    Watkins & Shepard
    Inman Trucking Co.
    Schneider Bulk
    Superior Carriers
    SVTN
    Trimac
    CTL Transportation
    Melton Truck Lines
    Howard Transportation

    mje Thanks this.

Tyson Foods is a good one. Someone posted their trucks run 70 if that's important to you.

Are you looking for OTR or something local? And where in NC are you, especially if you're looking for something local? In that case, I could probably help you in the RDU area... I still have a lot of contacts there... but no so much if you were a place like, say, Boone.
