    Company name: Djuric Trucking
Contact Info: 219-933-1090 (ext 100, ask for Rich) or dispatch2@djurictrucking.com
Website: www.djurictrucking.com (can fill out short app online or e-mail in resume)

Djuric Trucking is a family owned business based out of Hammond, IN and we have been in business for 40 years under the same operating authority. We are looking for company drivers for intermodal container haulage or flatbed positions. Owner Operators supplying their own trucks are welcome to apply as well. Transition to Owner OP through our Lease-purchase program option is available after 90 days to existing company employees.

    Pay breakdown:
Company employees can expect to average between $1,000-$1,200 a week.
Owner OPs average between $1500-1700 (after all deductions, plates, insurance, fuel, truck payments if leasing with us)
There is additional pay for detention at customers, clean inspections, driver referrals.

    Brief overview:
We have loads available 5 days a week and occassionally on Saturdays for employees that are willing to work on weekends. Drivers are home daily 99% of the time, there are some instances where you may need to layover at a customer in which case a layover will be paid.

Dispatches are sent through our mobile app where you will be able to see your minimum pay for the load you are doing & can upload all your paperwork. We use KeepTruckin as our ELD provider which is a fairly simple system.

All trucks are 2016 or newer, both daycabs & sleepers available.

We operate out of all the Chicago railyards & container depots. On a daily basis most of our loads deliver to Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan & Wisconsin. There are longer hauls occassionally going into Ohio, Kentucky, Minnesota but not very common.

One of the main advantages of hauling containers for Djuric is that we have a large fleet of our private 20’ & 40’ chassis that we try to utilize every day whenever we can in order to avoid delays at rails/depots looking for chassis that are very often in short supply & in bad condition.

After 90 days there is the option to purchase health insurance, Djuric covers 50% of the cost for company employees. 1-week paid vacation & paid national holidays for company employees after the first year.

    Requirements:
Must have at least 2 years experience with intermodal containers or flatbed
Clean MVR for past 3 years
    Current DOT Medical Card
Need to pass pre-employment DOT drug test

Please feel free to reach out via e-mail / phone call or here on the forums for any additional information or questions you may have!

Edited to attach our Full drivers app in case anyone would like to print it out & bring it in person. You are always welcome to come and see us to discuss as well if you are in the area.
