We figure out my husbands settlement on a week to week basis. Anything off between Saturday 12:01 am through Friday 11:59 p.m. we are paid for. I always figure low when paying bills. If you are paid by mile less expenses and on a weekly basis you should come fairly close. Are you company or o/o?

He is going to be a company driver. I'm wondering what would be left. My husband said he would try to live on 100.00 a week or less. I no truck stops are expenseive. He' s not a smoker, and is planning on eating in the truck more often than the truck stops. He is a team driver through crst not yet but leaves next week.

buy a microwave and an inverter big enough to run it. This will save you a lot of heartache.

If your truck doesnt have a fridge get one.

Shop at sams club, you can get canned chicken, tuna, chilli and vegtables there on the cheap, as well get paper plates, bowls and plastic untinsels.

Wet wipes are a must as well.

A crock pot is not a bad idea either. You can make a stew and feed off of it for a couple of days.

I had a 750 watt cobra that I permanently installed in the truck, as long as the engine was running when you turned the microwave on it was fine, you might want to go with a 1000 just to be on the safe side.

I think they are about 250-300.00 I havent looked at them in a while. I can say though that they are worth it, because it doesnt take long for them to pay for themselves.

I just bought a walmart microwave.

you can get a 12 volt fridge, you can let it run as long as the truck doesnt sit for more than a couple of days.

And get a wally world crock pot, and just run your inverter.

    pawn star Thanks this.

If you run a inverter any wally world things will work off it crockpot microwave coffee pot unless you get a big inverter say a 2500 watt one you cant run all of them at the same time. This is the best way to save money on the road and alot healthier than truckstops..Most walmarts you can get trucks in and shop for gro and supplies not that I am a big fan of walmart but got to go where we can save money
