How many miles did you drive in 2008? 2009?

And how many miles are you projecting that you'll drive in 2010? I'm not asking how much money you made, none of my concern. I know the amount of money you made didn't all come from miles driven. Just how many miles did you drive?

 

From January 1st 2009 to january 1st 2010 I put 139,877 on the odometer...A very small percentage of that was deadhead.

I run pretty consistent so I'll do about the same this year.

 

I drove about 6,000 miles in 2008 and about 5,000 last year..

 

I drove 132,408 in 2008 and 132,380 in 2009. I've had the same basic route for 20 years working for a private company. San Diego to Seattle and back each week. Unfortunately they closed so now I'm looking again.

 

I've averaged around 140,000 every year until now...based on the average of 2200 a week, that will put me at just over 114,000 for this next year.

 

Getting paid by the mile just not in the cards, huh?

 

I averaged just over $7 a mile.. But I charge by the hour..

 

In 2008 I drove 95,000 the majority of those were from March - October. From Oct-Dec I put on about 12,000. I got out of the seat until Nov 2009 (late) and I put on close to 20,000. I figure I'll put on close to 150k this year. I run my bippee off.
