How much money can you truly make with set up like this?

Well if he got that from CH Robinson, or perhaps Central Dispatch, or maybe even Uship? Enough to cover fuel and buy a snickers bar maybe? Or what if we all just assume that but maybe just maybe this guy actually bought those really cheap at a steal himself and is just going to flip them for an easy profit? In that case the truck is a means to an end and good for him. On the other hand if he had dreams of being a car transporter and thought brokers would be a great way to stay loaded may God please have mercy on him.

 

Legally you won’t make much. To give you the sour truth, most of the guys you see doing 3 car hallers are:
No speak English sir
2 logbooks
4000 miles a week plus
Overweight and bypassing scales or found on scale getting shafted by DOT big time

 

These guys are a true problem on the road, in parking lots, everywhere.

 

Here's the 411 on hotshot auto transit,,,don't do it. I think there can be money in hotshot, just not in cars. Maybe as a backhaul, but generally, used auto transit is a PITA. Many times, the cars are way out of the way, or not there at all. Won't start, flat tires, and the same on the other end. I'd think more axles could insure better loads and pay, I shipped a car once, I'll never do that again.
