I see some sparkling clean machines out there.

And some that look like they've never been washed. Which one are you?

Also, how much does it cost for a truck wash? And, if you're a company driver, does your company pay for it?

Every 45 days at Crete for a free Blue Beacon wash which costs around $ 65.
And we have drivers that will not get the free wash because they don't get paid to get it washed.
    Ugh

At least once a week usually twice. Wash it myself every time I'm home. If I'm hauling locally it usually gets washed every night. I hate having a dirty truck drives me crazy. Price is $60-$100ish depending on where you go and what you get.

The best thing to do is to find out what the company policy is on washing trucks and take it form there.

As they are all telling you it depends on who is paying for it. Washing a truck is a good way to get pulled in for an inspection, or so the rumor is, the DOT doesn't like getting dirty. Also having the most filthy truck will get you pulled in.

I wash mine once a month at the very least. More often if I have run through a swarm of bugs or if the road salts are piling on.

Those of the drivers who pour body fluids out the window need to wash it daily in my opinion.

This seems like a double edged sword. No matter what a truck driver does, he or she runs the risk of getting pulled over.
