How to Weigh on a CAT Scale

    I just watched this very informative video on "How to Weigh on a CAT Scale". I wanted to share the video because I think the new drivers and students may find it helpful. Let me know what you think!

    Watch this video to learn how to weigh your truck on a CAT Scale. The CAT Scale Company is devoted to serving the trucking industry. That's why we make customer satisfaction our #1 priority and guarantee that our weights are accurate. If you get an overweight fine from the state after our scale showed you legal, we will immediately check our scale. If our scale is wrong, we will reimburse you for the fine.     Just a note, a lot of places get confused and don't do it properly when u tell them u have a split axle.

    They left out one important part. Don't forget to park on or directly in front of the scale while you go inside. Also, it's ok to grab a meal and drink while inside as long as you don't block the scale for more than 30 minutes. That must be covered in another training video because a lot of guys have it down perfect.

    Block the scale for 30 mins? Weigh an PARK,,And most truckstops don't know how to do a split weigh..

    Nope I was apparently 100k plus once and had 7 axles.

    I was was just wondering this even tho I pull a reefer with nothing but tandems. How does it look on a scale ticket when a split axel is weighed?

    I've never had it done right. My gauge is pretty accurate as long as they load it as I tell them and most out places have an axle scale so as long as they are 33000 or under I don't bother scaling.
