I would wait till well after daybreak.. I came down that way this evening and it’s some of the worst I’ve ever seen ever… Utah did not have one snowplow operating and over Rattlesnake Pass visibility was down to maybe 10 feet beyond my hood you could not see the road you could not see the markers on the side of the road either the snow was coming down horizontally entirely .. everyone was moving at roughly 15 to 25 Mph… Idaho was pretty bad as well but they had the road crews out working and they were several accidents including rollovers in that mess it cleared up around the scales but there is another storm system moving through there tomorrow that’s supposed to be just as bad if not worse..stay safe

As of a few minutes ago, still coming down. It is the sticky stuff, perfect for snowballs and snowmen.
Doesn't look to be letting up anytime soon.
Although weather forecast saying it might turn to rain in a few hours. That should melt it all away.

Passed it after 7pm, when it was like drvrtech77 had mentioned 10 feet visibility. Had to go around two trucks squeezing on the shoulder 5mph, they slid sideways, stuck diagonal next to each other going uphill, spinning with no avail.

East side on the bottom of the hill was dead stopped, 3 semis could not move, spinning going up. It would be maybe ok, but the wind was crazy, with 25k in the box I was feeling uneasy. Well, had to get through the OR hills, cuz OR I84 today afternoon should be maybe worst. I84 was blocked by semi wreck after scale, total mess this trip going back. I guess I'll take a week or two off till this cyclone goes by. Too much stress.

    krupa530 and drvrtech77 Thank this.
