    Hello fellow truckers,

I’ll make this short as possible and to the point. I got my CDL in 2015 and started working as a trucker and absolutley love it. Was doing mixers and dump trucks for a few years. Eventually I gained a lot of weight went to work for a company that stressed me the hell out (small sketchy inidan ownership gig) and I decided in January of 2020 I need a break from it all.. I’ve been ############ with doordash working 6 days a week making close to 1k per week. But I know down the road this is only temporary and I feel like I should get back in a truck. It’s been 2 years since I’ve driven and finding work’s not a problem. I just feel anxious & afraid as hell to jump back into a truck idk how i’be gotten so nervous about it. Any support/advice would be nice? I got an open mind so speak your free say much love and respect to the vets in this industry ✊

As the tired, old saying goes; it's like riding a bicycle; you never forget how.
Just go for it and you'll be fine.

Anticipation of Death is worse than Death itself.

You’re psyching yourself out. Nothing wrong with being nervous, but since this is not your first rodeo, you should not be paralyzed with fear. Let’s plan ahead…

You gained a whole lot of weight, the first go round. What will you do differently this time?

Just take your time & find a job that works for YOU. You have a job now so don't get in a rush. Figure out what will make you happy & look for that & leave the rest alone. Turn'em down. Focus on ONLY what is going to make you happy. Look for your dream job.
