i have one for speeding, one for bumping into the car in front of me because i stopped too late when it was very wet-snowy (no injuries), and one for not stopping at a stop sign (i did stop enough to see that there was no cars, just not a full 0-momentum stop) over the last few years.

Is that serious enough to impedede me getting a job?

Try seeking employment with some of the smaller mom and pop companies. Your record is probably borderline depending on points assessed. Trucking companies can afford to be a little choosy as to who they hire now because of the unemployment rate. Make sure you get a copy of your mvr before you do anything. Usually costs about ten bucks on the internet and you get it right away.

Call Swift. They are use to having drivers who bump into things!

Most of those tickets fall into the unforgivable area of trucking companies. Speeding probably being the least offensive. Failing to stop and bumping into things will generally put you into double secret probation with a company but to them ice the cake with a speeding ticket.....sorry to say but it is gonna be hard to get a job with those on your mvr.
When I first started trucking I had a 13 and 18 year old dui's on my mvr. It was extremely hard to get hired and now that the oldest one has dropped off it is still hard to find a new job.
    Good luck to ya

Should I even enroll in truck school? I called one of the companies that hire from SAGE, CRST, and when I listed my tickets they said
they have to look into it later when I apply.

Are there any hirers for trucking companies here who could give me an idea on how hard it would be for me to get hired with these violations?

The problem right now is..... CSA2010!

Without knowing exactly what the FMCSA is going to do with that new rule that penalizes driver's & carrier's for violation that you mentioned above.....

You may have a better chance getting a job driving a garbage truck.

Lupe you gotta remember that a trucking company or a school is gonna blow sunshine your way. The school will tell you anything to get your money, and the company man gets a bonus for every head he collects.
Your best way to find out is to call a company...even werner or swift and ask them if they would hire a trainee with these tickets. How old are they also, that is a factor too. Recent tickects look real bad but old ones can be forgiven easier. having a clean mvr is very important these days. My 20 year old dui fell off my record finally but it took 20 years to fall off. I cant wait for the other to go away, seeing as how I have had no tickets since that screw up in 1993. Good luck, dont get discouraged, get informed.
