I need help in finding a job!

Ok, so I have no experience and want to find a local job here in Florida, can you enlighten me on any possible leads in the central florida area? (Tampa, orlando, Daytona-spacecoast)

 

GFS has warehouses in Florida one in Miami and one in Ocala. Also have you looked at Cheney Brothers? Or the usual Coke, Pepsi, Budweiser or Miller-Coors? Beer companies and pop companies usually hire guys without any experience.

 

But do they hire people without a CDL?

Ok i atleast have my CDL-A no endorsements yet. Plan on getting hazmat. Any other opportunities besides listed above?

The Beer Company I started my career at did train people to get there CDL,but usually you had to be warehouse first and work in the warehouse for a while and be a decent worker before they trained you. I think that's pretty common for a lot of places. GFS really doesn't train off the street to get people there CDL. Heck the division of the company I work for stopped training people to get there CDL altogether. Now they want people to have one.

Only time I ever heard of them training was for real dedicated packers and warehouse workers who want to become drivers.
