If you went thru Swift's academy, you are probably beholden (obligated) to work for them a full year... are you not? Can't you go over your mentor's head, and talk to someone in Safety or something, and tell them that you need MORE training, and don't feel ready to test out for solo, even though your "mentor" says otherwise? That's what "i" would do, first. Sorry for your tough times, man.

ps: you could call Western Express, and let them know what happened with Swift, and they might bring you over to them, and buy out your contract. It won't be free, but it's a thought. You have any interest in flatbed?

Where is your location? We need to know your home state and nearest town.

Just ask for more training time. I would think any company would be happy to send you out with another trainer or local driver.

just stick it out with them, swift is good. tell them u need more practice and little more knowledge. even if they throw u out solo, thts also good experience, they expect u to make mistakes so dnt feel bad, just learn from them. as u gain experience, the more better u gonna get
