    Trucking companies generally don't lie.
Recruiters for trucking companies often do.
Read the posts on here and formulate your own ideas, then apply where you feel most comfortable.
From what I've been able to tell, less than 5% of drivers are with their original company at the one year mark. The reasons vary. Some are company, some are driver problems.

No matter what company you go to work for you better go apply for welfare first because you're gonna need it! The way this industry is headed down the toilet all of us company drivers are going to have to apply for welfare before long!

:yes2557: Trucking companies are like ######, they tell you what you want to hear, when you need to hear it, and then they #### the #### out of you.

I have done a ton of research, I would recommend talking to a few schools and your local Community College. If you talk to schools don't do any pre-hires until you decide you are going to a private school. If you do pre-hires with them the the companies may not let you attend their company training.

    Good luck.
