Not my truck but I saw a driver with "specialized" on the door. He was all butthurt over a w9 tractor passing him and a rock came out of his tires and hit the specialized truck. This was in WY the speed limit is 80 in most parts of i80. As far as I know I told the butthurt driver it's a road hazard not really anything that you can put fault on. My thoughts being is closer than 150 feet it can happen like this. Than I went on my way while the guy took pictures of the other truck and talked to the driver at the fuel island.
I did talk to the other guy in the w9 and he was in a hurry to grab fuel because he had 900 miles on his last fueling. And his carrier does not allow CB radios so he did not hear the other driver calling him,
This is just another problem without a solution in the trucking industry and no common sense regarding the no cb.

If truckers piss and moan on the CB the way they piss and moan on this website I'd be chucking the CB out the window into the first creek I cross over.

If it cames off the trailer legally the trucker is responsible for it, now proving that is going to be impossible, and windshields are cheap.
If it comes off of the road and is picked up by a tire, so sad too bad. lol
What kind of fricken company buys W9's and doesn't allow cb's?

I actually have dealt with this kind of situation before Unless there was high enough damage for a claim, most police won't even come out to make a report. They just consider that as part of driving on the road And say turn it into your insurance.

Yeah, it's a road hazard, but so many people overreact to simple situations. They dive over the white line when approaching another truck on a two lane.... all the small rocks get kicked up on the shoulder, and when people drive on the shoulder "for no good reason" it kicks up rocks.

It pisses me off too. Just keep it in the lane, no big deal.

Why do i need to stop and fix my windshield for some coward that is too afraid to keep t in their lane? Or someone that can't because they are so busy with their phone.
