I used to keep my radio on at all times. Now I only turn it on when I feel like I need to. Why? I get so irritated when I here certain things over the radio, I don't know why, maybe I'm the only one. But the following things that are heard every single day just really get under my skin.

1.) a big radio loud mouth saying "...and I just got down". Really? Just got down on what?
2.) the idiot that repeats the same phrase or word (with a very loud/powerful radio) over and over and over. Why??? Seriously, if you're a grown man...WHY? Don't you think your wife/girlfriend or kid would be totally embarrassed to know or hear you saying "TURTLES TURTLES TURTLES" or "How bout ya Larry" over and over, all day, every day? Seriously, how ashamed would a son be of his father if he knew daddy was a bigger child then he is?
3.) MORNING TIME, morning time, M-O-R-N-I-N-G TIME!!! Ya think? How very observent of you...and later today it's going to be "afternoon time" and after that..."night time". Sorry, but greeting someone with "morning time" just sounds stupid!
4.) The super trucker that never says "10-4" but instead says "10" (pronounced t-E-n) or "4-10" (pronounced "fo t-En") Ok...there is a "10 code" so responding with "10" is something like stating an incomplete... And "4-10" is a freaking shotgun. Flipping the 10-code around doesn't make you sound cool, it just makes you sound like you want to be cool! Ugh...sorry, but that irritates me everytime.
5.) The guy that ends every sentence or statement with the word "right". "I just dropped off in Rochester right". "I just paid $$$ to fill up right". "I'm tired today, I only got 2 hrs of sleep last night right". Well, I don't know...you tell me! Are you so unsure of yourself that you have to confirm it with the other supertrucker that's produced a slow accent only for the "coolness factor" on the radio. Yall know what I mean..."right".
6.) The guys that ALWAYS get into a political debate during a traffic jam. Especially the one guy that seems to know exactly what the problem is with our economy and how it could so easily be fixed. Ok, well, since you have such a strong background as an economist or politician, why dont' you park that truck, march right up the steps on Capital Hill and put and end to all of our nations problems. OR, just shut up!

IDK, I had to post something to vent these everyday irritations of mine. I also wonder if I'm the only one that is urk'd by this. Maybe I am? Or maybe what what's really going on in my head is just simple loathing of the supertruckers!

I'm surprised you did not also post about the guy who chants about not having any panties on...or the guy that continuously whistles into his mic followed by "aaauuudddiiioo". Or the guy who asks for a radio check every 2 minutes. Or the guy that says "shaddup stupid".

The thing about it most of them dont have a big radio. They just came from the Hack Shack where they paid $150 for the hacker to show them they can get 100 watts out of their bare foot 4 watt radio now its splattering all over the place and you will be out of radio range 1/2 mile down the road

Yeah, that sure can be annoying eh? Oh well, no sense worrying about stuff you can't control eh?

Had a couple of 4 wheelers with CB's in their pickups behind me one time. They talked non stop for an hour and ended every statement with "Over".

O, lets not forget the guy that rambles on and on then suddenly..."and I'm going back quiet". Well, good, "go back quiet" and while your at it...shut the hell up! One more..."standing by and checking the mail". Tell what what...stop "standing by" and quit "checking your mail" all day, GO GET A JOB!
