Anybody have any info on R and R Brothers Logistics LLC out of Austin,Tx.? I do know that they are a small company and I can't find a web site for them. They may not have one. So if you have any info on them it would be most helpful.
I looked the company up and this is the only thing I could find, http://www.quicktransportsolutions....nd-r-brothers-logistics-llc-usdot-2277375.php there are some others names listed but their not the same people. I emailed him back and ask him if this was him in Austin,Tx and he said yes. I ran his DOT munber (USDOT 2277375) and got a report. I also googled mapped his address and it showed a house, not in a business area and no sign of trucks anywhere. They could be parking somewhere else? He wasn't very forth coming with info about his company, at least not like other company's that I talked with. I had to ask about his trucks, what area they ran and the pay. He's the only company that I've had to pry the info out of.
I was leased on to a "company" who operated out of their house. It was all O/O and they rented trailers as needed. THey were very shady/flakey.
These people illegally parked their 18 wheeler in my Condo parking lot overnight. When I confronted the driver he threatened me and told me to call the police, which I did. I would not suggest you do business with these people. I agree with the other post that lists them as Shady/Flaky. Michael of Hammond, LA
Here is the website for the company. www.randrbrotherslogistics.com It is two brothers that own the company. They own 3 trucks and use a dispatch service to send the driver on calls. The dispatchers are pretty good at finding loads so you are not dead heading far. I know someone who worked for this company and he did not have anything negative to say about it. As for the guy who parked the truck at his condo, it was the truck driver who parked there not the owner of the truck. Shady and flaky, not sure about but from what I hear, once you get to know the brothers they are pretty good guys.
I worked for them in the very beginning they are the worst I have ever encountered they classified me as a independent contractor and paid me a salary of $900.00 per week it was ok when I was working but getting time off thats another story they said when I was hired that my pay was for working and time off NOT!! So they didn't pay me at all I had to beg for my money and to boot never gave me time off than when I had enough I quit with back pay owed to me never got it to this day and now I owe the irs a crap load of money because they 1099 me so guess what there going to be getting a letter from the irs on a dispute on a form SS-8..There out of business now because they new nothing about trucking they were 2 brothers who thought they were going to get rich and hired me to teach them on trucking but they never listened me from beginning and if your reading this Sam im coming for that money..
