Just curious as to what y'all use for getting online, while away from home. I just got a new laptop, and am new to this WIFI stuff, but I hear that Verizon is a good way to go, but I'm undecided whether to do hotspot, or get an aircard. Any thoughts?

Verizon with an unlimited data plan on my Android that I tether to my laptop with the PdaNet app. Verizon no longer offers the unlimited data plan though from what I've heard.

I use a t-mobile data card and every now and then have to buy wifi for the night at whatever TS I might be at if in the sticks. Its an ok plan as its 5gb downloading but has no overage fees so its basically unlimited.

I did one of their useage estimators, and I'd probably do alright with their 10 gig plan for $80, which will give me plenty of time for gaming, Skype, emails, etc.

More than likely, I'd be playing my Steam games via my laptop.
