is all you need 1 year?

    ok so i like central ref. but my plan is to be a o/o but heres my concern. the companies i wanna join say 2 years and 3 years experience. wheres this 1 year stuff everyone is talking about? anyone heard of central states? i was also thinking of comtrak but i dont know if they are easy to get on with. Imma hit my 1 year soon.

    In this industry after you have worked 1 year about 50-60% of all truck companies will hire you. After 2 years that goes up to about 80-90%. After 3 years almost all companies will hire you. All this is assuming you maintain a clean record.

    If you have your heart set on a company or companies that require 2-3 years experience then you are likely looking at companies that are those that are more selective, have insurance policies requiring more experience, and will likely be much better companies to work for as a career opportunity.
