I have been talking to my wife lately about becoming a long haul driver, but only in Canada
I am in BC and was wandering what a good per mile rate was if I worked for a company
And what a good per mile rate was for o/o
Also for o/o what is the average cost to run your truck for the year

Thanks guys good luck out there and stay safe

Driver's pay should be around 42 cpm for Canadian runs and around 48 cpm acros border. But make sure Canadian runs have long waiting hours for back hauls. You in BC , so probably you will coming most to Ontario.

Owner operator's pay , you will know it after driving for sometime ..

Operating cost depends on numerous factors. So just get in first ... Good luck
