Is there an Owner Operator based in the Portland, Oregon Metro Area

    Hi,

    I live outside the Portland Metro area. I have been with the same company for over 20 years with a clean CDL A driving record. I have been running inside the Portland metro area the whole time. I have no experience in dry van/refer. I am looking to possibly make a jump over to running longer runs outside the Portland Metro Area and eventually becoming an Owner Operator. I want to find someone who can mentor me and I can ride with on a short run to see if it is something that I want to do. I am drug free and I do not smoke or drink. Is there someone who can help me?

    There are several companies that run the i-5 corridor between Washington Oregon and California. I know that there is a terminal for Schneider and Swift in troutdale. May trucking is in woodburn as well as tradewinds in Albany. I know there is a company that does curtain sides based in Vancouver but I can't remember the name. Really all you need to do is Google trucking companies in Portland Oregon and you'll get a list.
