    • I just wanted to ask all you hard-working Owner Ops out there about some stats and numbers so I can run some numbers of my own.. a really good idea before I jump back in in the springtime. So what are you pulling down each week on average after expenses? And for what company if you don't have your own authority yet? I have been "on the side" since 2011 because my twins had health issues. I'm sure much has changed since then. Thanks very much in advance for your input. I'm in western North Carolina.

    This will be interesting.
I could tell you what I gross, but it would not mean much to you, and you probably wouldn't believe it anyway.
What actually matter is how many nickels are left , and no two people are going to have the same results, even with the same jobs.

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

This is true. There are many variables. I only had 12 thousand left to pay when I had to give it up. I had a 2000 Freightliner with a n14 525 pulling a 48 flat. I think this go around I'm going with another pre emission Freightliner and a Detroit with a step deck. I will definitely be investing in an APU. The elog thing would be new to me since I've always ran paper logs. When I stopped in 2011 , fuel was up around $4 a gallon. Do it to it like Sonny Pruitt and get paid, son. Thanks for the comeback.
