I was wondering what you guys had to say about being a newby in the industry. What had you encounted that you didn't expect? Is it what you though it would? Thank you.
In digesting any replies, just keep in mind one's outlook, life needs/wants, perceptions, and expectations COLOR EVERYTHING and everyone has a different "starting point" and frame of reference.
I thought it would be a lot easier then it is. Stress, I think that was the the big thing for me. I could put up with everything else but as a new driver the stress level is incredible. I also didn't have a game plan going in. You need to know what you want a year or two from now. Just having a little experience is not enough to get you a good job latter on. It really is pretty simple. Pickup on time, deliver on time, don't hit anything on the way there. Unfortunately it's never that simple.
