Was wondering if anyone is using a bluetooth keyboard and mouse on their android tablet. I have a samsung galaxy 10.1 tablet, I really like it but am sick of the touch screen keyboard and its inability to perform certain tasks on this site that my laptop at home has no issues with. Before I drop the money I was hoping someone here had some hands on experience.

Ive used a bluetooth keyboard with my phone before. Depending on your device, you may be able to use an "On The Go USB cable", which has a micro usb that plugs into your phone on one side, and a full usb that you can plug accessories into. A USB hub does work, so you can use multiple USB devices at once. Mice, keyboards, and sometimes even Xbox controllers work. Some devices, when rooted, can even read USB memory sticks. Keep in mind that your device will be supplying power to these accessories.

I googled your device for OTG USB. I think the Galaxy Tab 10.1 uses 30 pin port instead of micro usb. Youll have to use an adapter that converts 30pin into usb. Im not sure if you have to root your device to do this.

If you want to connect multiple usb accessories youll need a hub, which you plug into the adapter.

I have the iPad version of this keyboard:

I believe the only difference between the Android and iOS versions are the special function keys.

This is the best computer/tablet accessory I have ever purchased. Lightweight, small, with a case that doubles as a stand...with this combo I never use my laptop anymore. The feel of the keys is also excellent. I can't recommend this enough.
