uve seen my posts about cr england. my situation is this:

cr england kicked me out for hitting a curb. i was counting on them. i have no job and no money and bills to pay. i love driving the truck.

whos the best to go with? right now im going with swift but i wanna do my research.

so hows roehl, prime, central, wil-trans, millis transfer, knight/squire, and usa truck? from what ive seeing, central, swift and roehl are the best.

i want alot of training time in the truck. that was one of the main problems with cre. it was all classroom and barely any hands on. i want lots of driving time.

i need and want my CDL!

SWIFT is going to put you on a trainers truck for 240 hours behind the wheel. More hours if the trainer thinks you need it. Miles aren't great, and they start you at .25 CPM when you go solo. Training pay is 425 a week for the first 4 weeks and 450 after that until you go solo.

Markey84 I have been doing a lot of research on Prime and you might want to check out the forums. There is a lot of information about Prime out here and they sound like a very good company. This is the company I am serously considering after I get out of the military next Oct. Good luck!!!

thnx guys. ya i particularly like the way prime sounds with their appprenticeship styles. cuz all the training i got was in the classroom and they neglected the hands on stuff. i even said i could memorize the pretrip and all that anytime but i dont happen to have a tractor trailer at my hotel to practice with, and they said doesnt matter study pretrip. then they kicked me out wen i couldnt drive properly with no real practice

You better order a copy of your DAC report and check to see if there is anything on it, if it exists at all. I don't know if they are allowed to DAC you seeing that you weren't driving for them and were just a student without a CDL. Although, to some of these companies, I suppose doing the right thing or legal thing doesn't matter much. You should contact DAC and order a report. Like I said, one may not even exist. If you were given a bad DAC, you will find it next to impossible to get hired by any truck company. Some of these companies are real scummy and you can't trust them. Better safe than sorry.

Why would you want to go with Swift? With Roehl once you get your CDL through them or private school you then go out with a driver trainer for 2 weeks come and get your truck. start at .32cmp first 3 months .34 next 3 months .36 after 6th month dry van, more if you do flat bed. Best training I have ever had, and I've trained with TDI and a refresher with Roadmaster long time ago.

Roehl wants $2800 for their school. It depends if you want to pay or not.
