Hey everyone
my fifth wheel won’t lock when I pull the handle or every once in a while it will. An adjustment ?
Just wondering what are usual issues ? Don’t usually need to uncouple but I had this load to Walmart.. took so long.. that.. was annoying

has the locking jaw been greased or the moveable parts lubed up? Anytime mine has been stuck i just had to spray a little PB Blaster on it and on the spring/arm and it worked fine.

There are certain types of handles that my company has that lock into the open position. Maybe that could be an issue?
Every once in awhile I would back against the kingpin, pull forward for my tug test, and freely roll forward. Always a nice surprise. Lol -
Yeah I HAR that done during an oil change about 2-3 months ago, I was actually almost starting to think this might be the issue but I guess not then huh ?
It’s not a major issue for me right now so I haven’t taken a lotta time on it but when I did I was having a hard time looking at how the mechanism works and what might be messed up how I could fix it maybe -
