I searched and found nothing but threads degrading working on the intermodal side. Im currently working OTR, but am sick of not having a social life. Any thoughts? If your gonna put bad stuff down about it, please elaborate so that I can probably steer clear as I am happy were I currently work, but would rather drive local.

Whats the pay like for intermodal? Fuel networks, stops, loading, unloading, waiting, etc, etc.

From what I've heard most of the intermodal guys run out of the ports in Seattle/Tac out to Hermiston, Oregon area and back daily. They've been advertising 50k per year on this division.

Thats what I found and I'm supposed to start the 30th. Was just trying to get more input before leaving my decent paying job otr. But I would prefer to be at home more often than once every 2 months. My choice of course.

I meant small like a terminal for trucks too small lol. Somebody on a thread I searched was saying that it was very small for trucks to even be driving through there and that its along one of the busiest rails in WA.

Forgot to add, but does knight have all that safety stuff like the onguard system and are the trucks governed? All this stuff makes me go insane right now haha
