KW T2000 - Fuel Gauge Shows Empty Unless I Unplug Coolant Sensor?!

    Yet another issue with the truck I purchased. The fuel gauge reads empty unless I unhook the coolant sensor. When I unhook the coolant sensor the fuel gauge reads as it should.

    Paccar quality lol. The truck's like 10 years old or something if I remember it right from OP's other post. Not so much a quality issue as simply not being looked after by the previous owner.

    Does the temperature gauge work correctly?

    It's a 2000 T2000. Yes the temperature gauge is spot on. All of the other garages work great

    That's a weird one. Only thing that comes to mind is a short in the dash between the fuel gauge and temperature gauge. Or a poor gauge ground.

    I believe this guy is living in your dashboard somewhere.

    They're super hard to kill and can easily move from truck to truck.

    Park next to a volvo (their favorite snack) and unhook your batteries. If you're lucky he may get bored and move on.
