Is Class-C a CMV license in Commifornia? Here is Kansas, that's just a regular car license, so no endorsements required.

I'm not sure, but you might check with the state you're moving to, and see if they allow transferring it. Just surrender your old license for the new one. States have different time periods for renewals. Some it's every 4 yrs, where others it's every 6 yrs.

Most of the time it's just go to DMV, maybe take the basic written and you get the new state's license. However, I have heard, (Il.) you have to take all tests, written and road. Check your new state's motor vehicle website.

If you have a Class C CDL I suggest you contact the state your interested in for further information. Yes there is such an animal as a Class C CDL we had a family friend that worked for a local chemical company. His job required him to drive a placarded 3 1/2 ton pickup truck. He had the haz mat endorsement on it. I could spend time writing but this does it better.
