    never seen one like that just the standard small company ones is the ones i use

    I don't understand... whats wrong with a regular ruler or ones the company will give you? That one looks a little hard to use to me!

    Seems it would be simpler just to use ruler..lol.. that would have to go thru 2 sheets of paper for duplicate daily log books

    I use one of those cheapie green log book rulers from the truckstop. I think I paid $5.00 for the thing, they last about 5 or 6 years then the they fall apart over night.

    Too me it would be a waste for a driver. For some of the jobs they showed it would be great if you did that all the time, but in trucking you are only making a few lines a day. Also not sure how good it would do with log books. You pass a 15 minute increment very easy if you are not careful. Some guys do not loose leaf. Would be harder if you use a actual log book.

    Whatever works for you. I'd stick with just a short ruler because you can't get much easier.
