Thanks man. I was looking at a few different companies. Ultimately it came down to Lonestar and Combined. What a tough decision, both companies sound pretty good, but in the end paper logs won out for me (though Combined is heading towards e-logs too, ARG!) I'm sure I'll see some of yall out there though.

yup gotta go with what feels right, understandable. Do you still have to start in the glass division with them first?

Yup. Which is cool with me. Gives me some time to get used to their operations and settle in. How much Canada do you guys do btw?

it's optional if you want to do it all and there isn't a lot of us that do, I've been 8-9 times in the two years I've been here.

Hey drivers. I have applied and got accepted by Lonestar. Start orientation this Monday. When I get my truck assignment. Is there a chance I'll get a ole 379 or no ?

Still a few 379s out there, but the numbers are dwindling.

I've been M.I.A. lately for personal reasons. Got a 75' beam that went to SC after Christmas but again truck problems arose and I broke down in Baton Rouge January 2nd and I've had to stay close to home since then, but after Friday I should be back in the swing of things again.

First thing one of the Lone Star drivers asked me when I was at orientation was if I was married or dating. I said dating and he replied "Not for long." He must've been a psychic.

Anyway, I'm just rambling because I'm bored and got nothing better to do. Good luck out there to the new guys. If you see me around, say hello. Truck 900284. It's a bubble nose 387 Pete.
