Lookin at Milky Way or Can Hauling In Washington State

    Have a couple options on my plate to get out there and get some fresh experience here in washington state. been a few years since i drove truck so glad i may be given a shot. trying not to go otr too but will if need be. I have milky way i am waiting on a call from and also i have a can hauling outfit wanting to pay me hourly. what would you guys suggest ? open to other options too if ya know of something in washington around the seattle tacoma area. thanks

    When I was "out of practice," and going back to driving, I applied at Milky Way (Lynden Transport). They tried heavily to recruit me to team at their other company, Brown Lines. They'll probably shoot you the same pitch to gain experience.

    If you live near the ports, go for the cans. Especially if it's hourly. Consistent, year-round work and going home at night's a good deal. Maybe even get one of those lives I hear non-OTR people have...
