I just got my cdl on the 17th of last month. I got hired on with Schneider on Dec 6. I know this sounds bad, but Im already looking for another job. I'll only be making .31 cents a mile, 30 dollar chassis move and 25 dollar hazmat move. This is a local job. They have me on a 4 day work week. Thats only 720 BEFORE taxes and around 500-600 after taxes. I would really like a local job. Im in Dallas-Fort Worth Texas. Does anyone know of any local companies that will take me? @Chinatown

Old Dominion Freight Line has several jobs for new cdl school grads that graduated from approved schools. It's possible to work your pay up to $100G a year on Line Haul.
    Line Haul and P&D.
Line Haul is terminal to terminal drop & hook. Most are home every day. The pay is much better than P&D which is city driving pickup & delivery.

Wow your amazing! Someone on reddit actually recommended to make a post on here and to tag you. So glad I listened! Do you think it'll look bad that Im already looking for another job after only a week? Im sorry, but the pay is just too low. Before I got my CDL I was a receptionist at a gated community. What Schneider is offering isnt much more than what I'll be making here. I already have my Tankers, but I need to study for my Hazmat & Doubles Triples.

You've only had one cdl job, so jumping to a better one won't hurt you.

This one is hard work, unloading the trailer by hand or two-wheeler.
Completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to a high school diploma.
