I filed for the emergency MC and received it from the FMCSA. But come to find out that it doesn't work to book loads. I am in a bit of a crisis with trucks on the road. Does anyone know an owner operator that I can run under their authority for one month?

Maybe look in the classifieds. There were several MCs listed for sale. Maybe one of them will work with you.

    You have the MC
    You own or lease trucks
I see no reason why you can’t book loads for your own trucks.
I could be wrong, but the info you received could also be wrong.
If the life and legality of my company were on the line, I’d be getting a professional opinion!
Check with OOIDA, or an MC lawyer before taking action.

    Coffey Thanks this.

Reads like you paid some service to expedite the authority only to find out there is no such thing.

With the current rates it would cost more to bring a truck on than you would get back. By the time you pay to add to the insurance, drug test, do required background checks, he would only be running for three weeks.
