I have it, but it's been so long I can't find it. Home has most always been in the Des Moines area. If I come up with it I will PM you.

He can work on that with his eyes closed, you would be well pleased!!!

I thought his waaay too advanced timing specs and antiquated cat turbo #s are somewhat debunked??

He worked mine over in 2010. Watching him work was like watching a robot. I swear he
could have walked up to that engine blind folded and never missed a beat.

The truck ran great, never a problem with water temp or exhaust temp. The truck had an 18 speed and 3.70. Going up any long grade, just grab a gear, watch that wonderful puff of black coal and let it settle into the pull.

That was the best truck I ever owned, much better than the yellow 550 6NZ in my avatar. Just my opinion.

To a point, there are much better choices for turbos, and as far as timing goes it is a bad idea to go advancing the timing a stupid amount on an engine with a retarded timing pump cam from the factory, but there are factory pump cams that are advanced a good bit, and with the right parts they work very well.

I received some info. I appreciate the responses everyone. I had spoken to him some via forum chat but it's been 7 years ago.

I will keep quiet, converting a PEEC is fairly easy, need a donor pump and advance, then it is just changing parts.

You put a lot of faith in someone that I know has taken one of my friends for a lot of money and the guy had to go back into his engine in less than 100K miles.

My suggestion is to gather the parts and do it yourself.

    SAR and spax Thank this.

I was under the impression my pump could be used. At least the way he would do them. Same goes for the advance. :dontknow:I was just going to have my pump rebuilt in the process.
