Heys guys , UPSF is looking for full time road drivers , this may be a shot in the dark but any info would be appreciated .....my gut instinct tells me this company is a one & done kind of company ,which is normal for the bigger outfits .....looking to get away from auto frt and seeking out a solid company , somthing i could grow old at im 50 yrs ,time to start thinking long range ,things like healthcare ,pensions and stop building trucking companies that turn out to be a waste of my time ......thanks in advance

I don't like the Romulus terminal. They tried to kill captain Kirk.

Well they are innocent until proven guilty , ....i guess that's the way it's suppose to go ,but not sure these days our systems are so corrupt ,law ,justice & order depends on how much $ you have , healthcare in America is a privilege

Make sure about UPSF, are you going with the LTL side or the truckload side? This what you want to be sure about. My guess is that you are looking at the truckload side and it probably is a notch above most of the mega truckload carriers, but it ain't something to write home about.

The ad says full time road driver ,start time 6am to 12pm ,this terminal used to be overnite , so i think they have some LTL
Describes out to turn around or 2 and back to decimal ,sounds like a day shift line haul and that sounds alittle too good to me

Yeah at your age i would just go for it because you need to start thinking about pensions nd healthcare nd i know you made millions hauling cars lol, good luck nd walmart is not a bad choice based on their benefit package.

It sounds like the LTL side and I would jump on it. But it does sound strange that the drivers there already would not jump on this. Good hours, great start time and "getting off time"(although you really can't count on that), I find it very strange that some "seniority man" is not taking this. But if it is offered to you, TAKE IT!

Some UPSF terminals will require long hours on a nissan forklift
