Have you checked out Millis? They opened a new school near Ft Worth and are advertising on Craigslist.
I'm trying to get a grant for school. It's like taking forever!
    Good luck

The companies that are good to stay with or make a career with, usually don't advertise or recruit in CDL schools. A few may occassionaly, but most that recruit heavily are the mega-refrigerated carriers and most don't stay too long with them.

Lots of people say Central and Watkins Shepard are good outfits to drive for.

Typically, the ones that don't advertise require a minimum of 1 year verifiable experience. The company I drive for does minimal advertising; most new drivers get in by knowing someone.

You will probably find that you will need to do a year with a bottom-feeder outfit before looking for greener pastures. I got lucky and only did 6 months, but I also had 7 years of class B with tanker and hazmat experience. Good luck.

The first lady at WIA told me they were out of money last June, so there was no reason for me to stay in the program. 3 mos later I wanted info on cdl classes and was told ... by a new person who actually had a clue... that I was no longer in the program and would have to start over! Didnt have to really start over, but right now they're so overwhelmed it's just taking a while. Oh, and I don't want to go to C1 school if I can go to Goodwill or somewhere else.
