My company has used spreadsheets to manage global and local shipments for many years. We eventually bought a TMS for nearly $65,000 (and that's not even on the high end) and we are so disappointed by what we paid for.

Do you guys use spread sheets still? Or did you guys also buy an enterprise type of Transportation Management System?

I just want to hear other problems, if any, shippers face in using spreadsheets to manage their freight and logistics. . .

Hey Alex and welcome to the forum. What kind of problems are you experiencing with your TMS? Is the company you bought it from, trying to work on the problems with your company, or did they "cut and run?"
Please keep in mind that any new computer software is going to have hiccups for a while, until things get fine tuned. I know that living with the new program is a nightmare until it is fine tuned, AND EVERYBODY USING IT IS TRAINED.

I've trained employees for implementations; is the issue the software, hardware, or training and adoption?
