I’m curious about hauling luxury and exotics in enclosed. Probably a hotshot setup with a 3 car gooseneck but honestly have no idea. Looking for tips to get my feet wet and decide if that’s something I would want to do. much appreciated
Only experience I have is hauling jeeps and motorcycles to the desert for vehicles. My F450 comes in next month. Just a little curiosity on the subject as I love cars, as I'm sure we all do.
If I owned an expensive vehicle , I’d want to know how much experience the driver had hauling expensive cars and how much insurance coverage they had . get your insurance premium quote , it’s going to be a shocker .
If I have a exotic or luxury car I'm not going to have trouble paying someone that specializes in said car hauling like Reliable Carriers Inc | Vehicle Transport Services I definitely will not be hiring some guy with a 3 car open deck hauler to move my car.
I know a guy that halls exotics and he has a one and a half car enclosed trailer , and pulls it with a one ton van , no fancy signs or anything . He sleeps in the van , has alarms and motion detectors in the trailer .
You just went after the biggest name you can think of? They are corporate for corporations if you dont own 20+ cars you’ll be on the waiting list forever and they’ll send one of their #### boxes to come and get your car. I occasionally haul exotics and there’s much better options than reliable.
Sundowners ATC Are some of the best gooseneck trailers you can get. Insurance will kill you. But there is a lot of people who will pay extra to have their car in a smaller truck. Some situations whether its timing or tight delivery location require a smaller truck. Its not a guarantee but sometimes you can sell them on the fact that their car isnt crammed into a truck with 4/5 other vehicles
